Originally from Cambodia, I now call the gorgeous rolling hills of West Sussex home.

My camera has always been my way of connecting with the world. My background is in fine-art landscape photography, a discipline that taught me to chase the perfect light and find beauty in the smallest natural details.

While displaying my work in galleries, I was first approached by couples who wanted to be part of those scenic frames—leading to the birth of Raksmey Photography.

Today, I bring that same landscape-inspired eye to weddings and photoshoots, focusing on unscripted, emotive imagery. Rather than forced poses, I look for the organic moments and breathtaking backdrops that make your celebration uniquely yours, creating a collection of photos that feel both timeless and effortless.

As part of the team, Doug works closely with Smey as an assistant, supporting both the planning and the day itself. He ensures all paperwork and logistics are handled smoothly and, subject to availability, can also attend your wedding or event at no extra charge. Doug’s presence allows for additional angles and coverage at key moments, such as during the ceremony, as well as relaxed, candid guest shots throughout the reception.
